Child Safety Standards

Ghantagram has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). No person may use Ghantagram to create, upload, store, request, distribute, promote, facilitate or otherwise engage with content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child.

These standards apply to every part of the Ghantagram Android app and website, including Bells, comments, Communities, direct messages, profile content, photos, videos and links.

Prohibited activity includes, without limitation:

• CSAM or any sexualised depiction of a child, including computer-generated material;
• Grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation or attempts to arrange sexual contact with a child;
• Child trafficking or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child;
• Requests for, links to, instructions for finding, or promotion of CSAE or CSAM;
• Sexualised comments, threats or other conduct that places a child at risk; and
• Any attempt to evade detection, moderation, reporting or law-enforcement action.

Ghantagram is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. This age restriction does not reduce or replace our responsibility to prevent and respond to CSAE and CSAM.

In the Ghantagram app, use the report option available on relevant Bells, comments and other content. You may also contact support from within the app or email our designated child-safety contact at info@ghantagram.com.

Include the account name, Bell or Community, date, and a link or other information that helps us locate the concern. Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected CSAM to an email. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.

When we receive or discover a credible child-safety concern, we may:

• Prioritise and review the report promptly;
• Restrict access to or remove violating content;
• Suspend or permanently terminate involved accounts or Communities;
• Preserve relevant information where permitted or required by law;
• Cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities; and
• Report apparent CSAM or other qualifying child exploitation to appropriate regional or national authorities when required by applicable law.

We do not notify a reported user when doing so could place a child at risk, interfere with an investigation, or conflict with law or a valid authority request.

• Accounts use Google Sign-In or a verified email authentication flow.
• Members can report content and block other accounts.
• Reported content may be hidden pending review and removed when it violates our standards.
• We may limit features, remove Communities, and suspend or terminate violating accounts.
• Our Terms prohibit sexual exploitation, abuse, unlawful content and endangerment.

We handle child-safety reports and related personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for safety, moderation, legal compliance or security. Information may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect children, prevent abuse, preserve evidence, comply with law or respond to competent authorities.
